Concrete pumping is perhaps one of the most useful services we provide, as instead of having to move your concrete across a site using wheelbarrows, we offer a direct route that is highly convenient and promises no wastage.

While wheelbarrowing has been used to move concrete for years, the process can be cumbersome and labour-intensive – not to mention that spills can occur. In contrast, concrete pumping will see our team set up pumps that can be extended across a site, navigating tight spaces and tricky areas, before the mix is seamlessly pumped through directly to the pour site.

Concrete Pumping Technical Information

We provide two main concrete pumping methods here at South Coast Concrete.

Firstly, we offer a concrete pumping boom pump. This is perfect for large-scale construction projects where concrete needs to be transported to great heights. Whether it is simply moving a mix-up over a building or you’re working on a high-rise at a significant height, our boom pumps feature a remote-controlled hydraulic arm that can extended to great heights and move your mix wherever it needs to be.

We also offer line pumps which are a series of interconnected hose-like pipes that will be set up along the ground of your site. They are incredibly flexible and can be moved through tight gaps, around obstacles and even through buildings where appropriate. The concrete will then be poured through the pipes directly into the pour site.
